Plan Autocars

Tour coach circulation is prohibited in the city of Montreux during the Christmas Market weekends.

The organisers thank the tour coach drivers for complying with the following new directives:

  • The coach must get out from the highway in Villeneuve and not in Montreux!
  • Passengers are to be dropped off at the intersection of Avenue de Florimont and Avenue du Doyen Bridel.

  • The tour coach drivers will stop at this location to allow their passengers to get off the coach and will tell their passengers at what time to meet at the same place to get back on the coach.

  • The drivers will then depart via Avenue du Doyen Bridel to get back onto Avenue de la Riviera in the direction of Villeneuve and will then park their coaches at the Tronchenaz car park in Villeneuve. They can return to Montreux by bus using the bus ticket that will be issued to them by a member of the Montreux Noël staff. There are Montreux-Villeneuve city buses to and from the car park every 10 minutes via local bus line 201.

  • At the end of the day, the drivers will pick up their passengers at the same place where they dropped them off and will depart in the direction of Villeneuve.
